Festival hours are from 10 AM until 6 PM. If you want to be included in the Wakulla News special insert, please return your application by Sept. 1st. Selection of vendors is the unconditional right of the St. Marks Stone Crab Committee.

  1. Booth numbers will be assigned by the St. Marks Stone Crab Festival Vendor Coordinator.
  2. You may begin set up at 7:00 AM.
  3. If you want to come the day before please contact me for your booth assignment.
  4. If you chose to set up the day before, please do so before 4PM. Items left over night will be at your own risk.
  5. All vehicles must be removed from the festival grounds by 9:30 AM.
  6. You are responsible for your own tent, tables and chairs.  Bring tie downs for your tents.
  7. Be prepared for the weather; rain, wind or sun.  Bring bug spray, everything is outdoors.
  8. For those of you who requested electricity; please bring a 100 foot-110watt extension cord.
  9. Vendors are responsible for maintaining constant booth cleanliness and must dispose of garbage in City provided cans.
  10. Booths may be removed at 6 PM.  Vehicles are not allowed on the festival grounds 9:30 till 6.
  11. All vendors are responsible for reporting state sells tax to the Internal Revenue Dept.

  1. A reminder to vendors selling hot foods; you are required by law to have a current State License. Any Vendors not currently licensed through Department of Business and Professional Regulation will be required to obtain a temporary event food license. The cost of a 1 to 3 day permit is $91. Or you may prefer to get a yearly license. You may contact DBPR at 850-487-1395 or on the internet at http://www.myflorida.com/dbpr/hr/forms/index.shtml#licensing You may also buy your license Oct 26 from a DBPR inspector when one comes to the festival. Please call the DBPR for more information.
  2. If you are selling just cold foods, such as lemonade, snow cones or prepackage foods you must have a permit from the Department of Agriculture.  Please have your paper work in your possession in case of an inspection.  You may contact the Division of Food Safety at 850-245-5520 or on the internet at www.doacs.state.fl.us/ for more information.  The permit cost is $78.
  3. Non-Profit Food Vendors need to have a copy of your current Florida Department of Revenue Consumer Certificate of Exemption as a non-profit organization.  You are exempted from the above requirements.

  9. For those of you who requested electricity; please bring a 110-watt 100 foot extension cord. Extension cords must be grounded (3 prong plugs)  We do not have any 220 plugs.
  10. Fresh water may be obtained by filling your own buckets at a central water valve.
  11. Booth wastewater and grease must be contained and disposed of properly.
  12. Food vendors are responsible for maintaining constant booth cleanliness and must dispose of garbage in City-provided cans.
  13. All vendors are responsible for reporting state sales tax to the Internal Revenue Dept.
  14. Booths may be removed at 6PM.  Vehicles are not allowed on the festival grounds 9:30 till 6.

Directions to St. Marks

We are located at the end of Highway 363. From Tallahassee take S. Monroe Street which turns into Woodville Highway, go approximately 20 miles south.  Do not make  the mistake of turning at Highway 98.  Continue thru the caution light until you come into the town of St. Marks.  The festival is located downtown next to Bo Lynn’s Store.  If you are coming from Panacea, head East on Highway 98 until you get to the intersection of Highway 363, turn  right.  If you are coming from Perry, head west on Highway 98 until you come to the intersection of Highway 363 and turn left to St. Marks. You can follow the signs for San Marcos de Apalache Fort.  If you need more directions on Oct.28, please feel free to call me on my cell phone,  850-566-0025.  A list of nearby hotels is attached.

We have limited the number of vendors.  So please call as soon as possible if you are not able to attend, so that someone else may use your space.
